Fish Punch Art

Inspired by Marti Jurnak

Since I posted the NEW In-Colors yesterday, I thought it would be nice to post a "fond farewell" to the current In-Colors today. Tomorrow is the day you all have been waiting for, the first day of the NEW Idea Book and Catlolog!!! Woo Hoo! Believe me, it is packed full of new stamp sets, beautiful designer papers, great accessories and MORE!!! I will be posting the new catalog here on my blog, so stay tuned ;)

Today's card was inspired by Marti Jurnak, thanks Marti! The fish are punched using the Ornament Punch on it's side, how creative is that? And the stamp set is Delightful Decorations. I used the 5 Petal Flower Punch for the fins and the Heart to Heart Punch for the "bubbles". The background is made using the grass stamp from Inspired By Nature, and the sentiment is Teeny Tiny Wishes. And the colors are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo. I am HAPPY to say we do not need to say good-bye to Melon Mambo, it will remain a Stampin' Up core color...yippee!

For any questions or to place an order Contact Me by email or call me at 612-716-7289.

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stamping!

So very cute I have a couple grandson that this card will work so well...it is so darn cute...One question...how did you get the white around the fish...did you just cut it out...if so what a great job...or did you paint it with a marker???

Hi Janet,
Good question! All I did was ink up an ornament stamp from Stampin' Up's set, Delightful Decorations. Then I punched the ornament out using Stampin' Up's Ornament Punch. Hope that helps!
Happy Stamping!

How unbelievably clever! This is adorable! I do love Bermuda Bay, that is one in-color I'm sad to see go. This is just a great card! TFS!
